THE REASON I WENT M.I.A….
hey peeps!!! Im back 
I just want to say that I am aware that I have been gone for a while and I am sorry, but I had to get things into perspective. I feel like Christmas is the craziest time of the year for me and this time it was even more intense. In the past getting home to my family with lots of great gifts was my only concern. No matter where I am or what I am doing, I always make sure to make it home for the holidays. My holidays started early with decorating the house for the dinner party I threw with some friends. All the shopping for my family was done online and then I just ran out and got fun stuff for my girls here in the neighborhood. The party was a hit, the presents were perfect and then it was time to fly home and do it all over again, only this time I was bringing superman along. As if going home to see the family doesn’t add stress, now I am heightening the stress by 100 %. At first I wasn’t nervous at all about it. Superman is so great and so fantastic that I just knew he would love my family and that they would love him too. It wasn’t till we landed in my home town did I start to get nervous.
My mom was the first one he met and they hit if off immediately. Thank god she was there to pick us up… she was able to make him feel comfortable and relaxed. The next few days we spent introducing him to each of my family members one at a time. It was important to me that he had the chance to at least meat everyone once before our Christmas dinner. I was thinking that if he could get that behind him, then things wouldn’t be so awkward at dinner. My plain must have really worked because dinner was a huge success and everyone got along great! Watching him with my family was by far the best Christmas gift I have ever gotten! As I am sure all you big brothers out there understand that your little baby sister means a lot to you. It is already hard enough for my brothers and family to deal with what I do for a living and even more difficult to accept a man who met me as Charley. To them I am a whole other person and with Superman I am that girl as well. It just makes me happy for my family to know where his love is coming from, and even more important to know that I have their approval
The reason I went M.I.A was because I was wrapped up in my real life. Suddenly it hit me that I needed to devote some time to letting my loved ones know that I am still little ole me, and Christmas seemed like the perfect time to do it I have spent the last few weeks not even looking at twitter, my blog, or anything at all that has anything to do with my job. I feel so refreshed. I was starting to feel a little caged in there for a little while and my breath of fresh air has me feeling great! I am home now and am going to be spending all of today with my little buddies in my quiet empty home all by myself. I feel a chick flick coming on in my near future accompanied by a joint and a cold glass of MIO flavored water. aaahhh home sweet home. I hope your alls holiday was as great as mine. kisses!

You need not explain to me why you went MIA, I know you go home to see your family for Christmas every year plus bringing Superman w/you was an added thing for you to wonder about. Its good your family took to him and vice-versa very well. Im just glad it worked out for you 2 when you both went home. Not to mention you are my friend and I know if something had happened to you, you’d get back to us when you got a chance, so no worries there either. I fogot to ask you, are you signing at AVNs. Just curious but when you met your current boyfriend, you said he knew who you were as a porn star and I guess you were introduced as Charley Chase. At what point do you, or did you, tell him what your real name was?
About 6 months ago, I met up with a girlfriend of mine who introduced me to her friend. We hung out, had a great time. I was talking to her friend and thought it was very rude how people (in Vegas) kept coming over and talking and interrupting our conversation. At the same time, I couldn’t understand why all these guys were coming up to her. Sure she was hot, but you see her with a group of people in a conversation and interrupt her to just say “hi”. Anyways, I didn’t find out until later that night she was a porn star (someone you actually worked with). But what made our friendship happen was that we never treated her like she was a porn star mainly cause we didn’t know. And once I found out, it didn’t matter. Point being, do you feel that your boyfriend ever changed his attitude on who you are and who Charley Chase is?

I dont remember the first time I met my guy. hehe, this was back in the days when I would just drink for no reason and i mean get super smashed. needless to say this was one of those nights I was super smashed. anyway, I guess in my drunken state I had given him my number. Well I should back up a bit. The girlfriend I was out with that particular night had a guy friend of hers meet up with us for a drink at a bar called Happy Endings. I guess her friend came with a friend (superman). any way… I guess in my drunken state I gave him my number. Due to the weird area code he assumed it was a fake number so he never called. hat night he didn’t know I was in porn, it wasn’t till he saw my picture on my friends facebook did he connect the dots. He then messages me on facebook, but I never check that stuff so it took a while for me to actually see it. Its funny too because I NEVER really check facebook, much less respond to people. I try to keep my Blog my #1 source of communication to my fans, but something about his picture made me want to check his message out. I opened the message and he said something so human to me that I had to write back. later he wrote me and we set up a dinner. At that dinner the first thing he asked me was what my real name was and I have never been charley to him ever since. I dont know if I answered your question… hehe I guess I kinda rambled on, but yeah, that is how it all went down.
You need a “Like” button. You totally answered my question. There is a big difference in knowing the someone everyone knows, or knowing the real someone. Glad things are working out for you.
